Thanks! It was basically the next worst day of my life next to my dad dying and still feel like im in a fog. The Rep is trying to get me into Commonwealth University this weekend which I hope works out since its just an hour away. It was just SOO embarrassing, especially when I know I would have passed 100% if that didn’t happen.
I failed..
Took my SRTA today. Checked in, finished early, cleaned him got everything off knew I passed 100%. Then ODU’s teacher, “someone left dirty gauze on the floor” I know i cleaned the gauze etc, but I left my cavitron towel I used on the floor because my air/water was leaking. SO sure fucking enough, “can #100 come here” my patient was last, and I’m bawling the entire time. I got an automatic failure because ‘severe infection control contamination’ for my towel on the floor, and because there was blood on the air/water and suction.. I failed and they didn’t even look in his mouth. So now I have to retake it, pay $1,500 and drive 14 hours to tennessee hopefully if the lady can fit me in. If not next is in july which is moms surgery so I can’t. then it is october, how the fuck am i going to get my license in time to take the local class in july and oh yeah find a job. SOO depressed and balling right now because I know I did perfect and stupid mistake I didn’t even know you were suppose to do fucked me over..
soooo I take my SRTA clinical hygiene exam tomorrow, last step before being a RDH. hopefully it all goes well, SO ready to get it over. My mom’s surgery is scheduled for July 10.. So I have a local anesthesia class until 5 pm on the 9th then catching a flight to bham I suppose, then driving to Jax for the cruise in August. yepp.. believing in good karma

Went to hang out at my neighbors house to send off some boys that are deploying. And the neighbors we just met said ” I didn’t think you would be this fun”, “I thought you were stuck up”, “you should be like this all the time” REALLY people??! Just because I dress cute and am nice doesn’t mean I am a bitch, and why do you think I am just trying to impress you.
Also me singing drunk Prince karaoke into a PAM can.. The neighbor was like you suck at singing, and I said ” Bitch I took 4 years of voice lessons” and he is all - sounds like you should have taken 5…. really douche?!
